Public Transportation in Philadelphia

- Download a PDF with information regarding public transportation from Philadelphia International Airport or from 30th Street Station to the Marriott Downtown.
- The R1 Regional Rail line connects Philadelphia International Airport with Market East Station, which is one block from the hotel.
- The Market-Frankford Subway line provides transportation to Old City (historical attractions) or to University City (UPenn and Drexel campuses). From 12th & Market, go east to 5th & Market for Old City, or west to 34th & Market for University City.
- The Broad Street Subway line provides north-south transportation (north to Cecil B. Moore Ave for Temple University).
Alternatives to Parking at the Hotel
- DO NOT plan on street parking. There is only limited meter parking available. Parking meters in the area around the hotel are strictly enforced and cost 25 cents per 7.5 minutes, usually with a maximum of 2 hours.
- Philadelphia Parking Authority: Search on this site for parking lots near the hotel. Use the search phrase "1201 Market St". Or click here to see some suggested parking garages.
- If you are staying in suburban Philadelphia and coming to the hotel for the conference meetings during the day, consider parking at a Septa parking lot and taking public transportation to the hotel. You can use this site to plan your trip.
